Mollie Day became a licensed massage therapist through the Blue Cliff College, Metairie, Louisiana, in 1994.
She (somewhat simultaneously) completed her B.A. with an emphasis on Medical Anthropology at Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, New York, in 1996. With a desire to deepen her practice, and to further her understanding of dis-ease and holistic healing, Mollie attended the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration, Boulder, Colorado, and became a Certified Rolfer in 2000. She returned to the Rolf Institute and became an Advanced Certified Rolfer in 2011. Between 1994 and 2011, Mollie studied visceral manipulation, neural manipulation and craniosacral therapy at the Barral Institute and the Upledger Institute, W. Palm Beach, Florida. In 2014 Mollie was accepted to a comprehensive, clinically based program offered by The Osteopathic College of Ontario in conjunction with the Osteopathic Health & Wellness Institute (OHWI). This was an intensive program taught by Dr. Steven Sanet, an American Osteopathic physician and world renowned lecturer and founder of OHWI. Mollie completed this program in Osteopathy in 2017 and has received her Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Theory & Practice.
Using a multidisciplinary approach, Mollie strives to provide her clients with optimal treatment and care that will promote their health and well-being.
Mollie continues to deepen her understanding of manual therapy and the mind-body-spirit by regularly attending continuing education courses, through teaching anatomy to yoga teachers, and by maintaining an active practice in yoga and meditation.
